Statistic Sorts (tdsta1600m000)Use this session to:
The lines on the Statistics Sort Sequences tab refer to the Statistics Sort Sequences (tdsta1101m000) session. On this tab, you can enter and view the sort atrributes that are linked to the statistics sort and group them in a sequence. Sort attributes are fields that are used to sort data in statistics reports and overviews. They identify specific sequences of a selection of the level attributes, as entered in the Statistics Level (tdsta0601m000) session and as selected in the Statistics Parameters (tdsta0100m000) session. Note If sequences are define for a sort, you can no longer change the sort. However, you can maintain the sequences for the sort. If a sort is active, you cannot change the sort, nor its sequences. Example A company wants to view its sales statistics in some cases by country, business partner, and item, and other times it wants to see the data only by item. When looking at its statistical data, the company wants to compare its budget to the turnover. For that purpose, a sort code is created with a sort sequence listing country, business partner, and item and another sort code is created for which the sort sequence is just item. In both sort codes, the Sales Budgets and Sales Turnover check boxes are selected.
Sort An identifying code and description of a set of data fields
grouped in a sequence. These data fields are used in statistics reports and
displays. When a report or display is generated, the fields are filled with
data from the database and displayed in the report or display according to the
sequence defined in the sort code. Purchase Order Intake For each sort code you can indicate whether purchase order
intake statistics must be kept for the sort. If this check box is cleared, reports of such statistics cannot be produced for this
sort. Purchase Cancellation For each sort code you can indicate whether purchase
cancellation statistics must be kept for the sort. If this check box is cleared, reports of such statistics cannot be produced for this
sort. Purchase Turnover For each sort code you can indicate whether purchase turnover
statistics must be kept for the sort. If this check box is cleared, reports of such statistics cannot be produced for this
sort. Purchase Budgets If this check box is selected, you are allowed to create purchase budgets for
this sort. Sales Order Intake For each sort code you can indicate whether sales order intake
statistics must be kept for the sort. If this check box is cleared, reports of such statistics cannot be produced for this
sort. Sales Cancellation For each sort code you can indicate whether sales cancellation
statistics must be kept for the sort. If this check box is cleared, reports of such statistics cannot be produced for this
sort. Sales Turnover For each sort code you can indicate whether sales turnover
statistics must be kept for the sort. If this check box is cleared, reports of such statistics cannot be produced for this
sort. Sales Budgets If this check box is selected, you are allowed to create sales budgets for this sort. Active If this check box is selected, the sort code is active. An inactive sort
cannot be used for display or print purposes. Note On the appropriate menu, you can (de)-activate a sort.
Activate Activates the sort. A sort must be active before you can use it for a report or an overview. De-activate De-activates the sort (De-)Activate Starts the (De-)Activate Sorts (tdsta1200m000) session in which you
can (de)-activate a range of sorts.
