Sales Order Template (tdsls2605m000)

Use this session to view, enter, and maintain a specific sales order template and linked sales order template lines.

You can start this session:

  • Stand-alone.
  • From the Sales Order Templates (tdsls2505m000) overview session, by double-clicking a record, or by entering a new sales order template.
  • By clicking Sales Order Templates in the Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session. This applies if only one sales order template is available for the sold-to business partner. Otherwise, first the Sales Order Templates (tdsls2505m000) session is started.
  • By clicking Sales Order Templates in the Customer 360 (tdsmi1500m000) session. This applies if only one sales order template is available for the sold-to business partner. Otherwise, first the Sales Order Templates (tdsls2505m000) session is started.

To view the details of the sales order template, click Sales Order Template Details on the File menu of the current session. As a result, the Sales Order Templates (tdsls2505m000) details session starts.

To view the details of a sales order template line, on the Lines tab, select and double-click a sales order template line. As a result, the Sales Order Template Lines (tdsls2506m000) session starts.

Note

On the toolbar, you can click the Duplicate Record button to start the Copy Sales Order Templates (tdsls2205m000) session.

 

Sales Order Template
The code that identifies the sales order template.
Sales Order Template Group
The code that identifies the template group. Use the template group to link more than one sold-to business partner to a template.
Sold-to Business Partner
The business partner who orders goods or services from your organization, who owns the configurations you maintain, or for whom you perform a project. Usually a customer's purchase department.

The agreement with the sold-to business partner can include:

  • Default price and discount agreements
  • Sales order defaults
  • Delivery terms
  • The related ship-to and invoice-to business partner
Sold-to Address
Effective Date
The first day on which a record or a setting is valid. The effective date often includes the effective time.
Expiry Date
The last day on which a record is valid. If you do not specify an expiry time, the validity expires at the end of the expiry date, at 24:00 hours.

 

Generate Sales Order
Generates a sales order based on the selected template.

This option is only available if the Sales Order Template (tdsls2605m000) session is started stand-alone, or from the Customer 360 (tdsmi1500m000) session.
