Sales Order Templates (tdsls2505m000)

Use this session to view, enter, and maintain sales order templates.

You can start this session in the details mode by clicking Sales Order Template Details on the File menu of the Sales Order Template (tdsls2605m000) session. As a result, you cannot only maintain the sales order template data, but you can also enter a new sales order template in the Sales Order Templates (tdsls2505m000) details session.

On the appropriate menu, you can click:

On the toolbar, you can click the Duplicate Record button to start the Copy Sales Order Templates (tdsls2205m000) session.

 

Sales Order Template
The code that identifies the sales order template.
Sales Order Template Group
The code that identifies the template group. Use the template group to link more than one sold-to business partner to a template.
Sold-to Business Partner
The business partner who orders goods or services from your organization, who owns the configurations you maintain, or for whom you perform a project. Usually a customer's purchase department.

The agreement with the sold-to business partner can include:

  • Default price and discount agreements
  • Sales order defaults
  • Delivery terms
  • The related ship-to and invoice-to business partner
Sold-to Address
Ship-to Business Partner
The business partner to whom you ship the ordered goods. This usually represents a customer's distribution center or warehouse. The definition includes the default warehouse from which you send the goods, the carrier who carries out the transport, and the related sold-to business partner.
Ship-to Address
A full set of address-related details, which include the postal address, access to telephone, fax, telex numbers, and email, Internet address, identification for taxation purposes, and routing information.
Warehouse
A place for storing goods. For each warehouse, you can enter address data and data relating to its type.
Effective Date
The first day on which a record or a setting is valid. The effective date often includes the effective time.
Expiry Date
The last day on which a record is valid. If you do not specify an expiry time, the validity expires at the end of the expiry date, at 24:00 hours.
Text
If this check box is selected, text exists for the template.
Status
The template's status.

Copy Sales Order to Template
Starts the Copy Sales Order To Template (tdsls2204s000) session, in which you can copy data from active sales orders or from history.
Generate Sales Order
Generates a sales order based on the selected template.

This option is only available if the Sales Order Templates (tdsls2505m000) session is started stand-alone, or from the Customer 360 (tdsmi1500m000) session.

Copy All Item Lines
Copies all template lines to the sales order.

This option is only available if you started this session from the Sales Order (tdsls4100m900) session.
