Terms and Conditions (tctrm1600m000)

Use this session to view, enter, and maintain a specific terms and conditions agreement and linked terms and conditions search levels.

This session supports easy terms and conditions agreement entry. You can enter a terms and conditions agreement and terms and conditions search levels on one screen.

Start this session from the Terms and Conditions (tctrm1100m000) overview session, by double-clicking a record, or by entering a new terms and conditions agreement; alternatively, start this session stand-alone.

Note
  • You can enter potential or inactive business partners on a terms and conditions agreement until the agreement is linked to an active contract. This allows you to prepare a terms and conditions agreement. However, these business partners must be related to the sold-to business partner, or buy-from business partner.
  • Select and double-click a terms and conditions search level to specify the search attributes of a terms and conditions search level in the Terms and Conditions Search Level (tctrm1610m000) session.
Search Levels

The lines on the Search Levels tab refer to the Terms and Conditions Search Levels (tctrm1110m000) session. On this tab, you can view, enter, and maintain the terms and conditions search levels linked to the terms and conditions agreement.

 

Terms and Conditions Type
Defines the type of terms and conditions agreement or template and is linked to a set of search attributes. Each terms and conditions type has its own search attributes.

The following terms and conditions types are available:

  • Purchase
    Purchase terms and conditions agreements can be linked to purchase contracts.
  • Sales
    Sales terms and conditions agreements can be linked to sales contracts.
  • Internal
    Internal terms and conditions agreements can be linked to enterprise unit relationships.
Terms and Conditions ID
An agreement between business partners about the sale, purchase, or transfer of goods, in which you can define detailed terms and conditions about orders, schedules, planning, logistics, invoicing, and demand pegging, and define the search mechanism to retrieve the correct terms and conditions.

The agreement includes the following:

  • A header with the type of agreement and the business partner(s).
  • Search levels with a search priority and a selection of search attributes (fields) and linked terms and conditions groups.
  • One or more lines with the values for the search levels’ search attributes.
  • Terms and conditions groups with detailed terms and conditions about orders, schedules, planning, logistics, invoicing, and demand pegging for the lines.

Sold-to Business Partner
Use this field to enter a sold-to business partner for terms and conditions agreements of the Sales or Internal type.
Buy-from Business Partner
Use this field to enter a buy-from business partner for terms and conditions agreements of the Purchase or Internal type.
In Use
If this check box is selected, the terms and conditions agreement is linked to a sales contract, a purchase contract, or an enterprise unit relationship.
Note

You can link a terms and conditions agreement to the following:

  • A sales contract in the Sales Contract (tdsls3600m000) session or the Sales Contracts (tdsls3500m000) details session.
  • A purchase contract in the Purchase Contract (tdpur3600m000) session or the Purchase Contracts (tdpur3100m000) details session.
  • An enterprise unit relationship in the. Internal Terms and Conditions Relationships (tcitr2140m000) session.
Business Object
The business object ID to which the terms and conditions agreement is linked.
  • If the terms and conditions agreement is linked to a sales contract, the sales contract number is displayed.
  • If the terms and conditions agreement is linked to a purchase contract, the purchase contract number is displayed.
