LN does not use this field. In case of integrations with other systems, you can use it to map unit codes between systems.

It is not mandatory to enter a value here.

Physical Quantity

Rounding Factor
Indicates how LN rounds off entered and calculated amounts or quantities. The quantities and amounts are rounded off to the nearest multiple of the rounding factor. For example, if the rounding factor is 0.030000, a quantity of 2,11 is rounded off to 2,10 (= 70 * 0.030000). A quantity of 2,12 is rounded off to 2,13 (= 71 * 0.030000).

The following differences exist between rounding factors for currencies and for units:

  • LN applies the rounding factor for units immediately when the users enter the data. LN applies the rounding factor for currencies not to the amounts entered, but after performing the applicable calculations.
  • In some cases, you can change rounding factors for units, but you cannot do this for currencies.

If a unit is in use, you can only change the unit's existing rounding factor if the new rounding factor has no effect on the quantities that were already rounded off with the original rounding factor. For example, if a original rounding factor is 3.000000, all quantities to which that rounding factor applied were rounded off to a multiple of 3. This resulted in quantities such as 0, 3, 9, 15, 120, etcetera. A new rounding factor of, for example, 2.000000 is not allowed, because a quantity in LN that was already rounded off to, for example, 9, would now be rounded off to 10.

Note
  • The default rounding factor is 1.000000.
  • The rounding factor for a unit that applies to a serialized item must always be 1.0. You cannot select the Serialized check box in the Items (tcibd0501m000) or the Items - Defaults (tcibd0102m000) details session if the rounding factor has another value then 1.0.
  • A rounding factor does not apply if it has more decimal places than the display formats that are specified in the Default Formats by Format Code (ttaad1508m000) session. In other words, if you define in the Default Formats by Format Code (ttaad1508m000) session that a specific quantity is displayed with two decimal places (for example 4,72 or 3,00), a rounding factor of 0,000010 does not make sense.
UCC Code
The Uniform Classifier of Units of Measure (UCC) code for the company's unit.
Note

Example: The companies in Russia must report the units in a UCC code based on the Russian Uniform Classifier Code of Units of Measure (UCC), instead of unit code.
