Periods (tcccp0170m000)

Use this session to maintain periods by period table.

With the Switch to Year Time Zone option on the appropriate menu you can switch from your time zone to the time zone that you specified in the Time Zone Code field in the Period Tables (tcccp0160m000) session. This is useful if your company is situated in the Asia time zone and the financial company is, for example, in the European time zone. If you want to make a new period set for Europe in Asia, the period must be recalculated to your time zone. With this new switching option, you can easily enter periods in a different time zone than your own system time zone.

There must be no gaps between periods. Each start date can be the end date of the previous period. LN subtracts one second from the end date to avoid an overlap between the periods.
