Recurrence Details (tcccp0143s000)

Use this session to specify the details of a recurrence.

Recurrence
Recurrence
A repetition of dates, such as “Biweekly on Mondays and Fridays”, “The 27th of each month”, or “The first Monday in June of every 5th year”.
Recurrence Type
The base period on which the recurrence frequency is defined. This field can be Yearly, Monthly, Weekly, or Daily.
Note

If, for example, the Recurrence Type is Weekly, the recurrence does not necessarily occur on a weekly basis. The basis can also be defined as biweekly, every three weeks, and so on.

Every
The number of days, weeks, months, or years, after which the pattern repeats itself.
Description
Description of the recurrence definition.
Range of Recurrence
Recurrence Start Date
The date from which the recurrence defines dates.

Related topics

End Mode
Specifies the method to define up to which moment this recurrence defines dates.

To define an end date up to which this recurrence defines dates, select End by.

To define the number of repetitions for this recurrence, select End after.

Recurrence End Date
The date up to which the recurrence defines dates.

Related topics

Number of Occurrences
The number of times this recurrence defines dates.
Rolling
Rolling
If this check box is selected, this recurrence is a rolling recurrence. In a rolling recurrence, the values of the Recurrence Start Date field and Recurrence End Date field are occasionally moved to the future.

The Interval(s) field determines how often the recurrence is rolled, and by what interval the recurrence is rolled.

Related topics

Reference Date
The date when the recurrence was last rolled.

Related topics

Roll after
The number of base periods after which the recurrence start date and recurrence end date are rolled forward. The recurrence is rolled forward by the same number of intervals.
Note

The value of the Every field affects the length of time the recurrence shifts. For example, if the Roll after field has the value 2 and the recurrence is defined for every 3 weeks, the recurrence is rolled by 6 weeks (2 × 3).

Related topics

Weekly
Day of the week
If this check box is selected, the recurrence includes this day of the week.
Note

The recurrence includes all selected days.

Monthly
Selection method for month
Determines how you can select the days of a month.

If this field is The, you can specify days, such as "The first Tuesday of the month," "The second Friday of the month," or "The last Saturday of the month."

If this field is Calendar Days, you can specify days, such as "Every 1st and 15th of the month."

To select the last day of the month, select day 31. If a month has less than 31 days, LN takes the last day of the month.

Selection
If you have set the selection method for month to The or the selection method for year to The, in this field you can choose First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Last. Using this field, you can specify dates, such as "The second Friday of the month" or "The last Saturday of the month."
Type of day
In this field you can select the type of day, such as Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and so on.
Day of month
If this check box is selected, the recurrence includes this day of the month.
Note

If you specified day 31, and a month has less than 31 days, LN selects the last day of that month.

If you specified day 29 or 30, and February is included, LN selects the last day of February.

Yearly
Selection method for year
Determines how you can select the days of a year.

If this field is Day, you can specify days, such as "Every 1st and 15th of the month."

If this field is The, you can specify days, such as "The first Tuesday of the month," "The second Friday of the month," or "The last Saturday of the month."

Month
If this check box is selected, the recurrence includes a date in this month.
Day of month
The day of the month that is included in the recurrence for the specified months.

Select All
Selects all days.

If the Recurrence Type field is Monthly, this command is available.

Unselect All
Clears the check boxes for all days.

If the Recurrence Type field is Monthly, this command is available.

Select All
Selects all months.

If the Recurrence Type field is Yearly, this command is available.

Unselect All
Clears the check boxes for all months.

If the Recurrence Type field is Yearly, this command is available.

Roll Recurrence
Changes the values of the Recurrence Start Date and the Recurrence End Date fields to shift the recurrence pattern forward.
