Workdays (tcccp0130m000)

Use this session to display and maintain the workweek. For each day of the week you can define one or more working time intervals.

Workweek
The ID of the selected workweek.
Day Name
The day of the week for which you can define one or more working time intervals.
Sequence Number
The number that identifies a data record.
Note

To insert a single recurrence more than once, such as to define multiple shifts, you must enter different sequence numbers.

Working Hours Type
The working hours type to which the line relates.
Note
Start Time
The start time and end time mark the time frame of the working time interval.
Shift Name
A generic name (EARLY, LATE).
Note
  • If shifts are used, a shift name must be specified.
  • A shift name is not coupled to a specific date.
  • Multiple consecutive lines with the same shift name, are combined into one shift when generated in the Update Calendar Working Hours (tcccp0226m000) session.
Available
If this check box is selected, the resource linked to this calendar is available for activities that are covered by the availability type.

If this check box is cleared, the line indicates non-working time.

Capacity Percentage
The maximum utilization percentage of a resource for this time period.

For example, if you enter 80 here, a resource cannot be used for more than 80% of the working hours of the current working hours type.

By default, LN sets the value of this field to 100%.

Efficiency Factor
A variable that LN uses to take into account differences in the daily availability of a resource, such as when working overtime, hiring extra staff, or working in different shifts. For example, if an employee works six hours out of a possible eight hours on a project, the efficiency factor is 0.75.

Efficiency factors influence the lead-time calculation in Enterprise Planning.

Note
  • Note the difference between efficiency factors and capacity percentages. Efficiency factors impact the lead-time calculation for which the corresponding calendar is used. The result of a specific efficiency factor is visible in the Hours field in the Calendar Working Hours (tcccp0120m000) session.
  • Capacity percentages give information about the utilization rate of a resource during the available time.
Overtime
If this check box is selected, the time period referenced in the line is defined as overtime.

This overtime is taken into account in modules such as the Service Order Control module and the Contract Management module in Service.
