Document Templates (dmdoc9110m000)

Use this session to attach or remove templates. Click New on the File menu to create a new template. To create a template, you must create a document (dmdoc1510m000), DOC-1 of type, such as DWG. To the document revision (dmdoc1520m000) of the document, attach a file (dmdoc4540m000) template.dot of a type, such as Word type. You can attach multiple files to this document revision.

 

Source Object ID
The document type to which the templates are being maintained.
Entities of Type
The entities that are being linked to the document type. In this case, the document is a document revision.
Description
The description or name of the document type.
Sequence Number
The sequence in which the document revisions (templates) are linked to the document type.
Entity Code
The details of the document, type and revision.
  • Document: The ID of the document that is linked to the document type.
  • Type: The type of the document that is linked to the document type.
  • Revision: The revision of the document that is linked to the document type.
Description
The description or name of the document.

Starts the Document Revisions (dmdoc1520m000) session.
Find Records
Enables you specify the document, type, and revision from the Search Utility for Generic Sessions (dmcom9112m000) session to locate records.
