To create a Report Viewer device for session-based reports

To print session-based reports, you need a device that sends the report output to the LN Report Viewer.

To create a Report Viewer device, complete the following steps:

  1. Start the 设备数据 (ttaad3500m000) overview session.
  2. To add a new device, click New. The 设备数据 (ttaad3100s000) details session starts.
  3. Enter the properties for the new device. Points of attention are as follows:
    • 设备: RPT
    • 说明: Report Viewer
    • 设备类型: Rewrite File
    • 语言环境: <empty>
    • 中间文件使用 XML 格式: Yes
    • 驱动程序: <empty>
    • Shell 命令: <empty>
    • 4GL Program: <empty>
    • Argument: XML -RPT
    • 路径: ${HOME}/rpt
  4. Save the new device and close the sessions.
