Groupe de textes (tttxt1110m000)Use this session to create and maintain text groups. Text groups are used to classify texts into groups. You can define text groups according to the function of the texts and link them as default to text fields or to normal users. For every text group you must specify a default window type as well as a text editor. You can select a simple editor such as the Infor LN editor or the multiline editor, but you can also use Microsoft Word with or without Rich Text Format. The text group’s text window size is shown in the grid. For example, [2,3,80x25]. This means that you can start writing text on the second row, third column with a maximum of 80 characters per line, and a maximum of 25 lines per text window.
Groupe de textes The code of the text group. You can authorize users to use the texts that belong to a particular text group. Description The description of the text group. Editeur externe The text editor that is used to maintain the texts in the text
group. You can select one of the following editors:
The text in Infor LN is typically written in the multiline editor. Although the Editeur ERP is still supported, the multiline editor is preferred because it is more user friendly. Fenêtre par défaut The default window type that is used for texts in the text
group. A window type characterizes the window in which the text is maintained and displayed. The window type defines the size, position, and appearance on screen, as well as the length of the text lines in the window. Autoriser sélection de texte If this check box is selected, users can select texts
from the text group, through the Select command, when adding a
text to a record that does not yet have a text. If this check box is cleared, users cannot select texts from the text group when adding a text to a record. The users can still duplicate a text through the Duplicate command. Clear this check box to prevent that existing texts in the group are linked to multiple records. In this way, you prevent data corruption when a text is edited for a record.
