Conversion d'utilisateur ERP en utilisateur de base de donn. (ttdba0915m000)

Use this session to convert a group of Infor LN users to database users for a selected RDBMS. The link between the Infor LN user and database user is created during this process. The Infor LN user must be linked to a database userto use information from the database.

You can use the following procedures to convert Infor LN users to database users:

  • Create one database user and link multiple Infor LN users to that database user.
    1. Select a database.
    2. Select a range of Infor LN users.
    3. Select the database group.
    4. Select the database user.
    5. Select the checkbox to display errors which occur during the conversion process.
    6. Choose the Convert command to start the process.
  • Create a database user for every Infor LN user.
    1. Select a database.
    2. Select a range of Infor LN users.
    3. Select the database group.
    4. Leave the database user empty.
    5. Clear the checkbox to use the system logon for database user
    6. Select the checkbox to display errors which occur during the conversion process.
    7. Choose the Convert command to start the process.
  • Create a database user for every Operating System user.
    1. Select a database.
    2. Select a range of Infor LN users.
    3. Select the database group.
    4. Leave the database user empty.
    5. Select the checkbox to use the system logon for database user
    6. Select the checkbox to display errors which occur during the conversion process.
    7. Choose the Convert command to start the process.

A database group is unique in every database. You must create a database group before you create a database user, because the database user is always part of a database group.

If this check box is selected, the errors that occur during the conversion process are displayed.
