	List items, BOM items, and package definitions Package definitions are used to define packaging structures for single items, list items, and BOM items. If a package definition is used for list items, you cannot specify how the components of the list items are packed. The kit is the lowest child node. Example In this example, the kit consists of components 2A, 3B, and 1C. This illustrates the handling-unit tree structure of a list item.
