Delete/Archive Inventory Transactions by Item and Warehouse (whinr1210m000)

Use this session to archive and/or delete inventory transaction by item.

Using this session you can:

  • Record the inventory transaction data up to a specific date in an archive company without removing it from your current company.
  • Record the inventory transaction data up to a specific date in an archive company and remove it from your current company.
  • Remove the inventory transaction data from your current company without archiving.

Specify whether you want to delete and/or archive the inventory transactions. Then enter the date up to which you want to delete and/or archive. If you have chosen to archive the transactions, you must enter a company.

Note

The last date this session was run is stored in the Last Archiving Date field in the Inventory Reporting Parameters (whinr0100s000) session.

Delete or Archive

Indicates if the inventory data will be archived and/or deleted.

Archive General Data

If this check box is selected, general transaction data is archived. (Recommended)

Archive Text

If this check box is selected, texts attached to the inventory transactions are archived.

Overwrite Text

If this check box is selected, texts which already exist in the archive company number are overwritten by the texts from the operational company.

Note

This option is only available if the Archive Text check box is selected. field.

Archive Up to Date

The date up to which transaction data is archived and/or deleted.

Note

For best results, do not archive or delete recent inventory transactions, because this will limit the options to rebuild data. Also, inventory valuation cannot be performed for deleted or deleted and archived transactions.
