Cross-dock Order Priorities (whinh6121m000)

Use this session to maintain the priorities associated with a cross-dock order priority definition.

To add priorities to a definition, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the New button. LN enters '1' in the Priority field, indicating the highest priority.
  2. In the Field field, select the appropriate table field.
  3. Depending on your selection, enter either the Field Value or the Sorting field.
  4. Repeat the previous steps for any other priorities that you wish to assign.

 

Priority Definition

A user-defined set of priorities assigned to one or more LN table fields. LN uses the cross-dock order priority definition to generate the cross-dock order system priority.

Note
  • You can use cross-dock order priority definitions for Dynamic cross-docking only.
  • Instead of cross-dock order priority definitions, and dependent on a parameter setting, you can apply planning priority rules to Dynamic cross-docking.
Priority

A one or two-digit numeric value.

Allowed values

1 (highest priority) - 99 (lowest priority)

Field

The table that is used for this priority.

Allowed values

  • Order Origin
    Refers to the outbound order origin.
  • Planned Delivery Date/Time
    Refers to the outbound order line planned delivery date/time.
  • Order Priority
    Refers to the outbound order line priority.
  • Rush Order
    Refers to the outbound order line Rush Order field.
  • Shipping Constraint
    Refers to the sales order line shipping constraint.
  • Customer Priority
    Refers to the sold-to business partner priority.
Field Value

If, in the Field field, you select Order Origin, Rush Order, or Shipping Constraint, the appropriate value for this table field.

Sorting

The sort order for numeric fields and date/time fields: Ascending or Descending. Otherwise, Not Applicable.
