The number of the cycle count order or the inventory adjustment order.
Cycle Counting Order Line Lots and Serials (whinh5106m000)Use this session to to maintain serial numbers and/or lot numbers for the serialized items and/or lot items of the current cycle counting order line. If the Serials in Inventory check box in the Item - Warehousing (whwmd4100s000) session is selected, LN automatically enters the serial numbers that are in inventory when a cycle-count order is generated. To maintain serial numbers for serialized items in the current session, in the Item - Warehousing (whwmd4100s000) session, at least one of the following check boxes must be selected:
If, for a cycle count order, the actual inventory is less than the stockpoint inventory, you must specify the serial numbers for the items that are not in inventory. After you specify the serial numbers and set the variance to 0, the serial numbers are removed and the inventory for the items is adjusted accordingly when the cycle count order is processed. If the actual inventory is higher than the stockpoint inventory, you must enter the serial numbers that are not yet listed in the current session. For serials in the high volume scenario (that is, serials not stored in inventory), you can link existing serial numbers if available.
Order The number of the cycle count order or the inventory adjustment order. / The number of counts that are performed on one or more lines of this order. Line The position (number). Item The item. Warehouse The code of the warehouse to which the order applies. Stock PointInventory The inventory present at stock point. Variance The difference between the valuation amount that is recorded after the receipt of goods and the updated value for that particular receipt. An inventory variance can be created:
Unit The unit in which inventory variance is expressed. Sequence The sequence number of the cycle counting order line. Serial Number The unique identification of a single physical item. The serial number can consist of multiple data segments that represent, for example, a date, model and color information, sequence number and so on. Inventory Counted The quantity counted at the stockpoint, expressed in the storage unit. Serial Status The status of the serialized item. The serial statuses apply only to low volume serialized items. Possible values For a positive adjustment, you can add a serialized item. This can be either a new serialized item, that is, a serialized item not previously registered in the system, or a serialized item present in the system, for example, a serialized item with status Removed (the Removed status was allocated because the item was supposedly shipped from the warehouse). If you add a serialized item present in the system, the previous status is automatically added. For example, if the item that you are adding has status Removed, LN allocates the status that the item had before it obtained the Removed status. If you add a new serialized item, that is, a serialized item not previously registered in the system, you can set the status of the serialized item in this field.
Link Serial(s) Use this command to start the Serialized Items (tcibd4501m000) session to link serial numbers to the items of the current cycle count order line. For further information, see To register serial numbers in the high volume scenario and Serialized items in Warehousing.
