Allocation Change Orders (whinh1120m000)

Use this session to view and maintain allocation change orders.

Changing an inventory allocation is required, for example, if the order for which the inventory is allocated is cancelled.

To change the allocated-to inventory, you must change the specification for a particular item quantity in a warehouse. The items can be contained in handling units.

In the current session, header data is entered such as the change order ID, the warehouse, and the handling unit (if present).

In the Allocation Change Orders (whinh1120m000) session, details such as the item, item quantity, and the specification to be replaced and the new specification are inserted.

If you enter a handling unit in the current session, LN generates a change order line for each handling unit in the handling unit structure that has a specification.

To make the allocation changes effective, you must process the change order. On the appropriate menu, options are available to process change orders by batch or individually.

Performance aspects

To save system performance, you must regularly delete data you no longer need. For this purpose, the following sessions are available on the appropriate menu:

  • Remove Allocation Change Orders (whinh1270m000)
Remove processed or unprocessed change orders.
  • Delete/Archive Allocation Change Orders (whinh1275m000)
Delete, archive, or delete and archive allocation change order history data. If you select delete and archive, the history data is deleted in the current company and archived in the archive company. The Delete/Archive Allocation Change Orders (whinh1275m000) session is available from the appropriate menu of the Allocation Change Orders History (whinh1570m000) session.
