The following options determine when handling units are
automatically generated for the current warehousing process.
Always
Always generate handling units automatically for the current
warehousing process.
For Ownership/Specification
Generate a handling unit when the current warehousing process
is launched and one of the following applies:
The value of the ownership registration level for the item,
warehouse and business partner is Physical Item or Physical Item and Location
The inventory allocation level is Physical Item
Note that for this option to work, for the current warehouse
and/or item, handling units must be in use for receipts, inbound and outbound
inspections, and shipments. For further information about other settings

Never
Never generate handling units automatically for the current
warehousing process.
