| To renew multiple contractsTo renew multiple contracts, perform the following
steps: - In the Service Contracts (tsctm3100m000) session, on the appropriate menu, choose Generate Contract Changes. The Generate Contract Changes (tsctm3202m000) session appears.
- Specify a range.
- Select the Contract Renewal check box.
- To activate the change for all the contracts, select the Activate Created Renewal check box. If you do not select
this check box, you must activate the change for every contract separately.
- To apply indexation and renew the service contract
simultaneously, select the renewal with indexation check box. Indexation is applied
based on the indexation template selected.
- Click Process.
Note - For renewal, contract
terms are made proportional according to the original and renewal duration.
- In the Contract Changes (tsctm3120m000) session, the displayed change effective date is the
current expiry date increased by one.
- For every change applied
to a contract, Service generates new installments, which you can review in the Contract Installments (tsctm4100m000) session.
- You can only renew a service contract if the Contract Renewal check box for that contract on the Contract Changes tab in the Service Contracts (tsctm3100m000) session was selected before the contract was
activated.
- You can select the renewal with indexation check box in the Generate Contract Changes (tsctm3202m000) session only if the following check boxes are
selected in the Service Contracts (tsctm3100m000) session:
- Contract Renewal
- Price Indexation
