Supersede Serialized Item (tscfg2240m000)

Use this session to register and manage the changes to the top item in the physical breakdown structure and/or the serial number of the item without replacing the serialized items physically. The serialized item, if superseded, is maintained in this session. The original serialized item, to which the changes are applied, is also maintained in this session.

If the top item is present in a warehouse, a transfer order is generated (ERP LN processes this order, no manual intervention is required). This warehouse order must be processed without user interaction. When the warehouse transfer order is created successfully, the Status of the superseded serialized Item (old) is set to Superseded in the Serialized Items (tscfg2100m000) session. The relation between the superseded Item (old) and the Superseded by Item (new) is maintained in the Physical Breakdown Changes (tscfg2140m000) session. ERP LN selects the Item Superseded check box, to indicate that the Item is superseded.
