| To plan with order blocksPlanning procedure To sequence and plan production orders, use the following
procedure: - Use the Generate Order Block Planning (tisfc0251m000) to generate an initial version of the
order block plan.
-
In the Order Block Planning (tisfc0151m000) session, you can apply the following methods
to adapt the plan as you require: - Adjust the sequence of order blocks by modifying block
sequence numbers in the Order Block Planning (tisfc0151m000) session. If you change the value of the Block Sequence Number field, LN automatically
resorts the order blocks.
- Adjust the start times of order blocks (without changing
the sequence of order blocks).
- Add production orders to order blocks by using the Add Production Order to Order Block command.
- Remove production orders from order blocks by starting the Production Orders by Block (tisfc0152m000) session and delete a production order from
the order block.
- Split order blocks by starting the Production Orders by Block (tisfc0152m000) session and use that session's Split Block command.
- Move an order block to a machine with more available
capacity by using the Modify Machine of Order Block command to start the Move Order Block to other Machine (tisfc0251m200) session.
- After you changed the start time or the composition of one
order block, you must use the Reschedule Order Blocks command in the Order Block Planning (tisfc0151m000) session to update the other order blocks of
the same machine and start date of order block period. You can also reschedule
the order blocks that come after a particular order block.
- If you are satisfied with the schedule, you can update the
standard planning based on the order blocks by using the Update Standard Planning command in the Order Block Planning (tisfc0151m000) session. After you update the plan, the
effects are visible in the Production Planning (tisfc0110m000) session.
Graphical plan board If you work on the WebTop client, you can plan the order blocks
by using the plan board. To start the plan board, use the Select Data for Order Sequencing Plan Board (tisfc1151m000) session. For more information, refer to Order Block Planning by Plan Board (tisfc1152m000). Purge order blocks If all production orders in an order block have been reported
completed, you can use the Purge Order Block Planning (tisfc0251m100) session to remove the order blocks you no
longer require. Note A production order can never belong to more than one order
block. | |
