Renumbering phantom operations

If a BOM contains phantom items, the routing of the phantom is merged with the routing of the main item to form a network routing. To ensure that each operation in the network routing has a unique number, the operations of the phantom items are renumbered. The renumbering is based on the following parameters in the Shop Floor Control Parameters (tisfc0100s000) session:

  • Initial Value for Renumbering Operations
  • Step Size for Renumbering Operations
Example

The main item routing consists of operations 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50. The phantom item routing consists of operations 10, 20, 40, and 45.

The Initial Value for Renumbering Operations parameter has been set to 200. The Step Size for Renumbering Operations parameter has been set to 5.

When the network routing is created, the phantom operations are renumbered: 200, 205, 210, and 215.

Important!

Operations numbers cannot be greater than 999.
