Role by Business Process Activity Properties (tgbrg3150s000)

Use this session to display and maintain the details of a role that is linked to a business process or activity.

You can define up to six responsibility codes for a role. These responsibility codes only apply to this particular combination of a role, activity, and business process.

Role

In DEM a role is a set of specific qualifications and/or skills that an employee must have to be authorized to carry out a business process, activity, or subapplication.

Role

The description or name of the role.

Inherited

If this check box is selected, the role is initially linked to the business process in which the current activity is incorporated. Consequently, the role is automatically linked to the activity.

If this check box is cleared, the link between the activity and the role is established in the current session.

Authorization

The level of authorization for a user that has the specified role.

If you leave this field empty, Full Authorization applies.

Note

The authorization that you assign in the current field cannot be larger than the authorization that you have defined in the Application Authorization field in the Business Process Activities (tgbrg5122s000) session.

If you do not specify a dynamic condition, the role is authorized for any dynamic condition.

Example

If you link the above dynamic condition to the specified role, the role is only authorized if the actual order quantity is more than 10.000.

Excluded

If this check box is selected, the role is excluded from the activity.
