To print the VAT bookThis functionality is specific for Italy. To generate and print the VAT book reports and the VAT liquidation report, use the following sessions:
You can generate the VAT book reports for the current financial company. LN calculates and prints the VAT book amounts in the financial company's local currency. Within a fiscal year, the page numbers on the report must be sequential. To guarantee sequential page numbering throughout the periods of each year, in the Print VAT Liquidation (tfgld1434m000) session, you can click Reset Page No. LN determines the default start page number and the year and period in which the preceding page number is used. To guarantee sequential document numbering, deleted documents are included in the VAT book report and shown with the DEL status. For some tax codes, you must print the section of the law related to the taxation on the tax report or the tax declaration. To support this functionality, the tax articles are defined as reason codes. In the VAT book reports, the VAT book transactions are grouped by tax article. Transactions for which no tax article is linked to the tax appear on the report as a single group. Intracommunity VAT only applies to purchases. The VAT amounts on intracommunity purchases must be offset on the VAT book reports. To achieve this, if you print an intracommunity VAT book, LN automatically generates the corresponding intracommunity sales VAT book which contains the same data; the so-called mirroring. The VAT book report for a financial company
group In a multicompany structure, in the Print VAT Book (tfgld1435m000) session, you can select the Print VAT Book for all Companies in the Group check box to print the consolidated VAT book for the group company, if all the companies use the VAT book and have the same local currency. For all companies in the group, you can only reprint a Preliminary or a Final report. The group company appears in the report header. The report contains the VAT book data of all companies in the group, sorted by transaction type. No company numbers are printed on the lines. The report does not show any summarized lines. If the same transaction type series are used in several companies, duplicate document numbers occur, and the ordering by transaction type / date is incorrect. For this reason, if you want to consolidate the VAT book data for the financial company group, do not use the same transaction type series in the individual companies. The VAT book report status The VAT book reports can have the following statuses:
You can print a Final VAT book report if the following conditions are fulfilled:
