Change Type

A user-defined code that can be used to identify types of changes made to orders, such as a price change or quantity increase.

Type of Change

The kind of change that you can link to the change type code.

You can choose the following types of changes:

  • Change Order Line: data on the order line is changed. For order changes received by means of EDI, only those data elements specified in the incoming message are changed.
  • Replace Order Line: the order line is deleted, and a new order line is added in its place. For order changes received by means of EDI, the order line is deleted and replaced by the new data specified in the incoming message.
  • Add Order Line: a new order line is added. For order changes received by means of EDI, a new order line is added with the data specified in the incoming message.
  • Delete Order Line: the order line is deleted. For order changes received by means of EDI, the order line is deleted.
  • Change Header Data: data on the order header is changed. For order changes received by means of EDI, only those data elements specified in the incoming message are changed.
  • Cancel Order: the entire order is canceled. For order changes received by means of EDI, the order is canceled by setting all of the order quantities and delivery quantities to zero.
  • Cancel Order Line: the order line is canceled.
  • Change Order Line for Price: the sales price on the order line is changed.
  • Change Order Line Customer Required Date: the planned receipt date on the order line is changed.
  • Change Order Line Planned Delivery Date: the planned delivery date on the order line is changed.
  • Change Order Line for Order Quantity: the ordered quantity on the order line is changed.
  • Change Header for Customer Required Date: the planned receipt date on the order header is changed.
  • Change Header for Planned Delivery Date: the planned delivery date on the order header is changed.
