To define system languages

You must define the installed languages as system languages by using the Software Languages (ttaad1510m000) session in the Device Management (AAD) module of BAAN Tools.

LN assigns the following to each system language:

  • A language number
  • A default character set

For each language you can define:

  • The date format.
  • The decimal separator (period or comma).
  • Other language specific information.
  • The character set, if this is different from the default one.

The default system languages and their numbers are:

  1. Dutch
  2. US English
  3. German
  4. French
