| Date-Effective Item Data (tcibd0110s000)Use this session to maintain the item types
and their effective dates. Note If you control the item type by means of Change Management
change orders, you can only view the data. In LN,
the raw materials, subassemblies, finished products, and tools that can be
purchased, stored, manufactured, sold, and so on. An item can also represent a set of items handled as one kit,
or exist in multiple product variants. You can also define nonphysical items, which are not held
in inventory but can be used to post costs or to invoice services to customers.
The following are examples of nonphysical items: - Cost items (for example, electricity)
- Service items
- Subcontracting services
- List items (menus/options)
The line position number. To add a new line, you can accept the default line number. To insert a line, enter a number that is between the
numbers of two existing lines. If you use change orders to control the item type, LN enters the change
order number. The effective date of the item type. If you use changes orders
to control the item type, LN enters the effective date when you approve
the change order in the Change Management module. If you use changes orders to control the item type, LN enters the change
order number. The expiry date of the item type. If you use changes orders to
control the item type, LN enters the expiry date when you approve the change order in the Change Management module. The item type of the item in the current logistic company
during the time between the effective date and the expiry date. During gaps between the effective periods of the
date-effective item data, the item has the type selected in the Items - General (tcibd0501m000) session or in the Item - General Defaults (tcibd0102s000) session. If this check box is selected, the item is under change
management control. If a change order is linked to the item and the change
order has not yet been approved, LN selects this check box. If this check box is selected, a text is present. | |
