Engineering revisions in lot control

If the Engineering Revisions in Lot Control check box of the Lot Control Parameters (whltc0100s000) session is selected, for a lot, you can record the revision of the item for which inbound or outbound movements are performed. In this way, you can trace revisions from purchase through to sales, and service through production.

Creating revision tracking data results in data increase. To avoid unnecessary data increase, only select this check box if tracking revisions is required.
