| Object Browsing (dmcomobjbrows)Use this session to browse data related to
an object. The data that is available depends on the Object type. The data presented resembles a tree
structure, with each branch representing a type of data, such as properties,
related change objects, or linked objects. The Object Browser (or the Browser) is a framework that
provides a clear and consistent view of complex structured objects in LN. The Object Browser presents the following types of
Links: - A vertical linkage (or a parent-child linkage): A linkage in
which the first object is at a higher level than the other object. A typical
example for this type is the relation between an item and one of the item's
components.
- A horizontal Linkage : A linkage in which both objects are at
the same logical level.
- An embedded linkage: A linkage in which one object is
(logically) contained inside a second object.
Navigation - Click a plus (+) sign to view the levels in the
structure.
- Click an object to
display the levels that contain the data categories, such as child links to the
object and so on, available for the object.
- Click a data
category to display the levels that contain the objects in the category, if
any. For example, while you browse in a folder, click the Objects inside Folder label to display a list of the folder contents.
Viewing and maintaining object details To open a new browse
