Probability Analysis

New in Infor LN SP1

This functionality is new to Infor LN SP1 and it is applied in the case of users trying to select a solution to the understood problem. The probability analysis is based on the past data collected on the problem-solution combinations. The solution also indicates a possible action to be executed to make the solution effective.

When the call is solved either by the call taker or by the service engineer by means of a Service order activity / MSC order, the data in the Statistics - Problems and Solutions (tsclm3160m000) session is updated with the details of the solution provided.

You can use Probability Analysis - Problems and Solutions (tsclm3161m000) session to view the statistics of problems and solutions along with the associated probability for the selected attributes.

You can use Service Resolution - Probability Analysis (tsclm3150m000) session to list the service resolutions for call, service order, maintenance sales order and work order. The session also display the calls contributed to a particular probability percentage.

The Update Call/Activity parameter in Call Parameters (tsclm0100m000) session controls the values that are used to Update the call/ Service order activity from Probability Analysis. Following two values are used to update the Call / Service order activity :

  • Expected Values
  • Actual Values
