| Comparing RFQ responsesInfor LN 10.3 You can compare RFQ response from different bidders based on a (variable) set of objective
and subjective criteria. You can select the most attractive bid. Infor LN 10.4 Several usability improvements are made to the RFQ comparison
functionality and the comparison criteria are extended. In Infor LN 10.4, you can start comparing and ranking the RFQ responses from the RFQ line, RFQ bidder, and RFQ response sessions. You can compare response lines with the Responded, Negotiating, or Accepted status. The response lines are compared and ranked based
on: - Objective and subjective criteria, if a criteria set is specified on the RFQ.
- Prices and amounts. Prices and amounts can also include landed costs (bidder and third party).
Note Although no criteria set is required for a comparison based
on prices and amounts, you can also specify prices as criteria in a criteria
set. New sessions RFQ Criteria Set (tdpur1690m000) This session includes the following sessions: - RFQ Criteria Sets (tdpur1190m000) (header)
- RFQ Criteria by Criteria Set (tdpur1192m000) (satellite)
- RFQ Criterion Scoring Schemes (tdpur1193m000) (satellite)
RFQ Compare Responses (tdpur1600m100) Use this session to compare the response
lines for an RFQ. It includes these satellite sessions: For each compared response line, the score is displayed by
criteria set. The ranking of the lines is based on the total score for each
line. For each compared response line, the Net Price, Net Bidder Price, and Net Purchase Price are shown. By default, the ranking
of the lines is based on the net price, but you can change this. For each bidder, the score is displayed by criteria set.
The ranking of the lines is based on the total score for each bidder. If the All lines included check box is selected, a bidder
responded on all requested items. Bidders who responded on all items rank
higher than bidders who did not. For each bidder, the sum of the prices converted to amounts
is displayed. Because different RFQ lines can have different units, the
responses are compared based on amounts. By default, the ranking of the lines
is based on the net amount, but you can change this. The All lines included check box is also available in
this session.
History and print sessions The following sessions are new: New fields In the Requests for Quotation (tdpur1501m000) session, this check box indicates if payment
terms must be included in the RFQ comparison, and therefore, if the prices and
scores on the compared lines include a payment terms discount. In the Request for Quotation Lines (tdpur1502m000) session, these fields indicate when
the last score was calculated and if the score is actual for an RFQ line.
