Multisite planningIn a supply chain involving multiple logistic sites, there is a need for coordination between the planning activities of the various sites. Multisite planning can involve several aspects, such as:
Multisite aggregation and disaggregation If you want to be able to aggregate data from several sites, and/or disaggregate data from a central location to several sites, you can do this by defining aggregation relationships. You can define these aggregation relationships in the Aggregation Relationships (cprpd3110m000) session. Decentralized multisite planning If you want requirements to be passed on between sites, you can apply decentralized multisite planning. In decentralized multisite planning, each site has its own planning runs, which are not coordinated centrally. Requirements are passed on between the various sites through the valid supplying relationships. Centralized multisite planning If you want to coordinate the planning runs at various sites, and make sure that these planning runs are carried out in the right order, you need to apply centralized multisite planning. In centralized multisite planning, you coordinate the planning from a multisite scenario that is located in a central site. This multisite scenario is linked to the corresponding local scenarios of each local site. Note Instead of placing the multisite scenario in a separate central site, you can also define it in one of the local sites (in addition to the local scenario for that site).
