Remove Unused Cycle Counting Data (whinh5240m000)

You can also access this session using the Remove Unused Cycle Counting Data option from the Actions menu in the Cycle Counting Data (whinh5140m000) session.

Session objective

To delete unused cycle counting data, use this session.

This session deletes cycle counting data for items with outbound method FIFO or LIFO if the stockpoint does not exist. This can be useful if the cycle counting data contains a large quantity of stockpoint history data that must not be counted; this is because a stockpoint with that specific inventory date is not created.

The following restrictions apply:

  • Cycle counting data is only deleted for items with outbound method FIFO or LIFO.
  • Cycle counting data is not deleted if the Force Cycle Count check box in the Cycle Counting Data (whinh5140m000) session is selected.
  • Cycle counting data is not deleted if an active cycle counting order is present for the stockpoint.

To print a report on the cycle count data that you remove using this session, select the Removed Cycle Counting Data check box.
