Unscan PMC Solutions (ttpmc2230m000)

Use this session to remove scanned PMC solutions and patches.

These actions are performed by the unscan process:

  1. Remove the selected patches that meet these conditions:

    • The patch was not created, using PMC Distributor, in the same BSE environment where it was scanned.
    • The patch is not installed in an update VRC.

    The solutions in these patches are also removed. If a solution in a patch is already installed in an update VRC, this solution is not removed. Instead, the solution is disconnected from the patch.

  2. Remove the individual solutions that meet these conditions:

    • The solution was not created, using PMC Distributor, in the same BSE environment where it was scanned.
    • The solution is not installed in an update VRC.
    • The solution is not part of a patch, which itself will not be removed.
    • The solution is obsolete and the corresponding feature pack is still present.

Base VRC
The base VRC for which solutions must be removed/unscanned.
Solution Code
A unique identification of the solution in a base VRC. The same solution can exist in several base VRCs. If this occurs, the solutions must be connected to each other by a co-requisite relationship.
Disconnect From Update VRC
If this check box is cleared, only patches and solutions that are not connected to an update VRC are removed.

If this check box is selected, patches and solutions that are connected to an Update VRC are also removed and are disconnected from the Update VRC. The patches and solutions should not have been installed in an Update VRC.

Print
If this check box is selected, a report is printed.

The report shows this information:

  • The solutions found in the range of solution codes
  • Logging info per solution

 

Remove
Removes the selected solutions.
