| Customer defined domain lengthsYou can change the length for domains of type multibyte without
creating customizations. Changing the length for domains of type

see the session help. To change the length of a multibyte domain: - Start the Customer Defined Domain Lengths (ttadv4105m100) session.
Select the domain and specify the desired length. You must
specify a length that is greater than the original domain length. In form and report layouts, fields that use the modified
domain are automatically adjusted to the new length. On the appropriate menu, select Convert to Runtime Data Dictionary. The Convert to Runtime Data Dictionary (ttadv5215m000) session starts. Run this session to
make the changed domain lengths available in the database. Runtime forms, that
contain fields that use the domain for which you changed the domain length, are
automatically adjusted. Return to the Customer Defined Domain Lengths (ttadv4105m100) session and, on the appropriate menu, select Process Forms. The Process Forms for Customer Defined Domain Lengths (ttadv4205m100) session starts. Use this session to (re-)dump the forms that use the changed domain. A list of changed forms is
printed, so you can verify the changes in the forms. If required, you can
customize the forms. Return to the Customer Defined Domain Lengths (ttadv4105m100) session and, on the appropriate menu, select Process Reports. The Process Reports for Customer Defined Domain Lengths (ttadv4205m200) session starts. Use this session to (re-)compile the reports that use the changed domain. A list of changed reports
is printed, so you can verify the changes in the reports. If required, you can
customize the reports. Optionally, return to the Customer Defined Domain Lengths (ttadv4105m100) session and, on the appropriate menu, select Copy to Package Combination. The Copy Customer Defined Domain Lengths to Package Combination (ttadv4205m300) session
starts. Use this session to copy the customer
defined domain length to another package combination.
