Audit Tables by Profile (ttaud3120m000)

Use this session to to define which tables and fields must be audited, and when they must be audited.

Hinweis
  • The audit functionality uses the positive approach, which means that you can only specify which tables and fields must be audited, but not which tables and fields must not be audited. Therefore, you can zoom to the Load Audit Tables for Profile (ttaud3220s000) session through the Zusatzoptionen menu to load a list of tables, from which you can delete the tables you do not require.
  • For a detailed explanation of the relation between audit type and field specification, refer to the section How to determine the net result of the audit configuration in the Audit Configuration Management online manual topic.

Field Selection
Select which fields you want to audit. The selection you make in this field, influences the options in the Audit Type field.

You have the following options:

  • All All fields in the selected tables are audited. In the Audit Type field, you must select when you want to audit the fields.
  • Specified Only specified fields are audited. The session selects Not Applicable in the Audit Type field. You must define which fields you want to audit, together with the audit type for these fields in the Audit Fields by Table (ttaud3125m000) session, which you can start through the Zusatzoptionen menu.
Audit Type
The setting that defines when a field is audited.

You can choose to audit a field 'always', or only when it is 'changed':

  • If a field is audited 'always', the field is logged each time when the content of the field, or the content of any other audited field, changes.
  • If a field is audited when it is 'changed', the field is logged only when the content of the field itself changes.

The audit type is defined on the following levels:

  • Table If you select All in the Field Selection field, the whole table, or range of selected tables, is audited. You must select the audit type for whole tables in the current field.
  • Specified fields If you select Specified in the Field Selection field, only specified fields are audited. In the current field, the session selects Not Applicable. You must define the audit type for the specified fields in the Audit Fields by Table (ttaud3125m000) session, which you can start through the Zusatzoptionen menu.
Active
