Import Configuration Data (ttaad7202m000)

Use this session to import the miscellaneous types of configuration data as exported by Export Configuration Data (ttaad7201m000) session. The source of the import can be an exported output- or stored additional file. For each data type present in the source file the full or a specific range can be selected to import.

This session is of the type wizard. The session provides assistance to the user. In case no specific range is selected this session contains only one dialog box. For a personalization type of data a specific range can be selected, and additional dialog boxes are displayed with the selection options. The Next, Previous and Finish buttons navigate you through the process and are enabled/disabled according to the Specific selection on the startup dialog box. The selection options can differ for each type.

Clicking Finish starts the actual import process.

Any errors that occur or information about records during the import process will be printed on the Configuration Data Error report (ttaad720111000). The last printed line on the report will inform the user if the import has succeeded or failed. In LN UI the report, by default, is printed on screen.

A specific import for a session/person/company/role only deletes data when this actual data is present in the export file.
