Export Configuration Data (ttaad7201m000)

Use this session to export miscellaneous types of configuration data. The format of the generated export file(s) is XML. You can also create an additional file. Infor uses additional files in case branch specific sets of data is developed which must be released to customers. The generated export file(s) can be imported with the Import Configuration Data (ttaad7202m000) session.

This session is of the type wizard. The session provides assistance to the user. In case no specific range is selected this session contains only one dialog box. For a personalization type of data a specific range can be selected, and additional dialog boxes are displayed with the selection options. The Next, Previous and Finish buttons navigate you through the process and are enabled/disabled according to the Specific selection on the startup dialog box.

The selection options can differ for each type.

Clicking Finish starts the actual export process. Based on the specified selection (range) for each data type an export of the configuration data is run.

During the process a progress indicator is displayed and the successful/failed result of the process is displayed to the user.

Only the configuration data itself is exported, for the personalization part only the content of table ttadv900 is exported. Reference data is not included in the export. The export results in one archive file, dependant on which output- and/or additional file name is specified.

Any errors that occur or information about records during the export process are printed on the Configuration Data Error report (ttaad720111000). The last printed line on the report will inform the user if the export has succeeded or failed. In LN UI the report, by default, is printed to screen.
