The assembly kit
Assembly Kit (whwmd4150s000)Use this session to define and maintain assembly kits. Note In the Warehouse - Item (whwmd2110s000) session you can specify if an item in a specific warehouse belongs to an assembly kit. You can only specify an assembly kit if the supply system is Order Controlled/SILS.
Details Assembly Kit The assembly kit Batch Size The number of assembly kits to be called off. Kit Type The type of assembly kit. Allowed values:
Maximum Time Interval The maximum-time interval for calculating the number of assembly kits to be called off. Time Interval Unit The time unit in which the Maximum Time Interval is expressed. Trigger-from Station Time Fences Frozen Time Fence A time fence is the number of working days or hours before the planned start date/time of a line station order (LSO). The frozen time fence is used to define the period during which changes can no longer be communicated to outside parties, such as suppliers. The frozen time fence together with the planned receipt date of the assembly kit determine the period in time during which the parts to be supplied for the assembly order cannot be changed anymore. So, no modification of the assembly order content is allowed when the modification date/time falls within the period determined by te planned receipt date minus the frozen time fence. Frozen Time Fence Unit The unit in which the frozen time fence is expressed. Safety Lead Time The safety lead time is used to determine the planned receipt date of assembly kits. Planned receipt date/time = assembly start date/time + schedule delay - safety lead time Safety Lead Time Unit The unit in which the safety lead time is expressed. Generate Time Fence If the planned start time of the line station order (LSO) to which the assembly part is linked is equal to or less than current date and time plus the value that you specify in the Generate Time Fence field, a supply message for the assembly part is generated. Note Only the Generate Time Horizon-driven SILS Supply Messages (tiasc8212m000) session uses this field. Last Update Time Fence A time fence is the number of working days or hours before the planned start date/time of a line station order (LSO). The supply message for an assembly part with supply system order-controlled/SILS is not updated anymore when the Generate Time Horizon-driven SILS Supply Messages (tiasc8212m000) session is run if the planned start time of the line station order (LSO) to which the assembly part is linked is equal to or less than current date and time plus the last update time fence. Note Only the Generate Time Horizon-driven SILS Supply Messages (tiasc8212m000) session uses this field. Main Item Main Item The code of the main item of the assembly kit. Note This field is enabled only if the Kit Type field is set to Product. Description The description or name of the code. Supply-from Warehouse The warehouse from which the assembly kit is supplied to the customer. Note This field is disabled if the Kit Type is Line Station. Description The description or name of the code. Supply-to Warehouse The warehouse to which the assembly kit is delivered. Note This field is disabled if the Kit Type is Line Station. Description The description or name of the code.
