Service Engineer Assignments (tssoc2505m000)

Use this session to view the list of service engineer assignments.

Note
  • This session can also be viewed as a satellite session in the Service Order (tssoc2100m100) session. To view this session, the Assignments check box must be selected in the Service Order group box, in the Service User Profiles (tsmdm1150m000) session.
  • This session can also be viewed as a satellite session in the Service Order Activity (tssoc2110m100) session. To view this session, the Assignments check box must be selected in the Service Order Activity group box in the Service User Profiles (tsmdm1150m000) session.
  • The Paging tab is displayed only if the Paging Active checkbox is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
  • The Accept and Reject options are displayed only if the Field Service check box is selected and are disabled if the Origin field is set to Work Order in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.

 

Origin

The origin of the assignment. This is a display field.

You can set this field to:

  • Service Order
  • Work Order
Note
  • This field is visible only if the Use Assignments in Work Orders check box in the Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session and the Field Service check box in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session, are selected.
  • This field is set to Service Order only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
  • This field is set to Work Order only if the Depot Repair check box in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session and the Use Assignments in Work Orders check box in the Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session are selected.
Service Order

The number of the service order for which the engineers are listed.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Service Order Status

The status of the Service Order.

Line

The sequence number that enables you to define more than one engineer for a service order.

Default value

Activity Line Number

The number of the service-order activity line that the service engineer works on.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Activity Status

The status of the Activity Line Number.

Service Engineer

The code of the service engineer assigned to the service order.

Assignment Status

The assignment status of the service engineer.

Pager Enabled

If this check box is selected, the service engineer is available for paging.

Note

This field is visible, only if the Paging Active checkbox in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session is selected.

This field is displayed only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) and the Origin field is set to Service Order.

Page Required

If this check box is selected, the service order requires paging the service engineer.

This field is visible, only if the Paging Active checkbox in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session is selected.

This field is displayed only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) and the Origin field is set to Service Order.

Activate Paging

If this check box is selected, the service employee must be paged.

The commands on the appropriate menu provide two paging methods:

  • Automatic paging
    LN sends the paging message using the value specified in the Paging Interval field.
  • Manual paging
    This method can be required, for example, if the paging server is down, or if you cannot reach an engineer through the common paging system.

This field is displayed only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) and the Origin field is set to Service Order.

Paging Interval [min]

The period of time in which the engineer is expected to respond to a paging message. After this period, the paging message can be automatically resent.

This field is visible, only if the Paging Active checkbox in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session is selected.

Escalation Date/Time

The date and time when the order exceeds the paging reaction period, defined in the Paging Interval field in the Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session.

This field is displayed only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) and the Origin field is set to Service Order.

Paging Counter

The number of times a paging message was sent.

Note

When pages are sent automatically, LN updates this field. In case of manual paging, you can manually change this field.

This field is displayed only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) and the Origin field is set to Service Order.

Last Page Sent

The date and time when the last paging message was sent.

This field is visible, only if the Paging Active checkbox in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session is selected.

This field is displayed only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) and the Origin field is set to Service Order.

Downloaded Time

The last date and time, when the Service Engineer has downloaded the assigned activities. This field is used by Mobile Service application. The assignment cannot be deleted if this field is filled.

This field is displayed only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) and the Origin field is set to Service Order.

Accept Time

The date and time at which the service engineer accepts the service order activity assigned. The service engineer informs the dispatcher of his/her acceptance. The information can be conveyed by fax, mobile phone, pager, or telephone. The assignment cannot be deleted if this time is filled.

Note

This field is displayed only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) and the Origin field is set to Service Order.

Actual Start Time

The date and time when the service engineer starts work on the execution of the assigned activity.

Actual Finish Time

The date and time when the service engineer completes the execution of the assigned activity.

Planned Start CRM Appointment

The start date of the CRM appointment linked to the engineer assignment.

Planned Finish CRM Appointment

The end date of the CRM appointment linked to the engineer assignment.

Job Sheet Completion Time

The date and time when the service engineer completes the assigned job sheet.

Note

This field is displayed only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) and the Origin field is set to Service Order.

Last Changed Time

The date and time when the Planned Start Time and Planned Finish Time are last updated or when the planner manually changes the service engineer assignment data.

Service Car

The code that identifies the service car linked to the service engineer.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Use Service Car

If this check box is selected, the service car linked to the service order activity and the assigned engineer is the same.

Note

This field is displayed only if the Service Car of Assignment is default for Activity check box is selected in the Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session.

Use Engineer Calendar for Planning

If this check box is selected, the calendar of the service engineer is used to calculate the planned start and planned finish time of the service order activity.

Note
  • This field is displayed if the Use Engineer Calendar for Planning check box in the Service Order Parameters (tssoc0100m000) session and the Use Assignments in Work Orders check box in the Work Order Parameters (tswcs0100m000) session is selected.
  • Infor LN allows you to select this check box only for one assignment linked to the activity.
Activity Duration

The planned duration of the activity based on the planned start and planned finish time.

Note

Based on the Origin, this value is defaulted from the Service Order Activities (tssoc2110m000) session or the Work Order Activities (tswcs2110m000) session.

Unit

The unit in which the activity duration is expressed.

Travel Duration

The planned travel duration.

Note
  • This value is defaulted from the Service Order Activities (tssoc2110m000) session.
  • This field is visible only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
  • This field is enabled only if the Origin field is set to Service Order.
Travel Distance

The planned travel distance for the service order activity.

Note
  • This value is defaulted from the Service Order Activities (tssoc2110m000) session.
  • This field is visible only if the Field Service check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
  • This field is enabled only if the Origin field is set to Service Order.
Planned Travel Start Time

The planned date and time to start the travel.

Planned Travel Finish Time

The planned date and time to finish the travel.

Planned Start Time

The planned date and time when the service engineer is expected to start the execution of the assignment.

Planned Finish Time

The planned date and time when the service engineer is expected to complete the execution of the assignment.

Actual Travel Start Time

The actual start date and time of the travel.

Actual Travel Finish Time

The actual finish date and time of the travel.

Earliest Start Time

The earliest date and time when the service engineer can start the execution of the assignment.

Latest Finish Time

The earliest date and time when the service engineer can complete the execution of the assignment.

Reject Time

The date and time when the service engineer rejects the assignment that is assigned.

Rejection Reason

The code of the reason to reject the assignment.

Note

This field is enabled only when you select the Reject option.

To reject the assignment, you must specify a reason of the type Assignment Rejection.

Description

The description or name of the code.

Assignment Text

LN selects this check box to indicate that additional information, related to the assignment, is present in the Text field.

Text

The additional information related to the assignment.

 

Accept

Sets the service engineer assignment status to Accepted.

Start

Sets the service engineer assignment status to Started.

Complete

Sets the service engineer assignment status to Completed.

Set Order to Completed

Click to set the order to Completed status.

Set Activity to Completed

Click to set the activity to Completed status.

Determine

Sums up the Reference Activity duration mentioned in the Configuration Lines and updates the Duration field on the Service Order Quotation header. This button is disabled if the Activity Duration field is disabled.

Calculate

If you use this option and you enter the planned end date, the planned start date is calculated backward using activity duration and availability by calendars. The calendars are selected from the serialized items, if specified, or else from the Installation group. If no calendars are defined for the durations concerned, ERP displays an error message. If the planned end date is not calculated, no activities are planned. This button is disabled if the Planned Start Date field is disabled.

Calculate

If you use this option and you enter the planned start date, the planned finish date is calculated forward using activity duration and availability by calendars. The calendars are selected from the serialized items, if specified, or else from the Installation group. If no calendars are defined for the durations concerned, ERP displays an error message. If the planned start date is not calculated, no activities are planned. This button is disabled if the Planned Finish Date field is disabled.

Starts the Service Order Paging Log (tssoc2102m000) session

All Orders

Starts the Service Order Paging Log List (tssoc2503m000) session.

Pager Details

Starts the Pager Data (tsmdm1170m000) session.
