Service Assignment Parameters (tssoc0101m000)

Use this session to define the parameter settings for the integration between service assignments and appointments defined in CRM. The CRM representative can see the (planned) visits made to the customer by the service employees. Also new work assigned to the service engineer is visible to the customer relation manager and the customer. The service employee can be synchronized with outlook via the CRM appointments.

 

Introduction Date

The date and time from which the parameters are valid. The parameters are valid up to the effective date of the most recent parameter setting.

Description

The description of the parameter set. For example, the reason why the previous setting was changed.

Update CRM Appointments with Service Assignments

If this check box is selected, CRM appointments are created and updated with service assignment data.

Organizer of CRM Appointments

The code of the organizer defined as the Service Employee in the Employees - Service (tsmdm1140m000) session.

Note
  • This field is enabled and mandatory if the Update CRM Appointments with Service Assignments check box is selected.
  • The Login Code must be defined for the organizer (service employee) in the Service User Profiles (tsmdm1150m000) session.
  • An e-mail address must be defined for the service employee.
Organizer of CRM Appointments

The description or name of the code.

E-mail Address

The e-mail address of the organizer of the CRM appointment.

Include Sold-to Contact as Appointment Attendee

If this check box is selected, the sold-to contact is added as the attendee for the meeting (CRM Appointments with Service Assignments).

This field is enabled only if the Update CRM Appointments with Service Assignments check box is selected.

If this check box is selected, service assignments are updated with the modified CRM appointment dates.
