Inspections (tscfg3100m000)Use this session to record the measurements while performing inspection on an item. Note You can create inspections only if the Use Inspections check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session. You can create an inspection for a service order activity/work order activity/customer claim when the activity status is free, planned, released or completed. The inspections can only be used for serialized items, if the Return Material Required check box is selected in the Customer Claim Lines (tscmm1110m000) session and Supplier Claim Lines (tscmm2110m000) session. The inspection are generated when the Measurement Type is specified on the claim lines. Customer claim inspections are applicable only if the Use Service Inspections check box is selected in the Claim Management Parameters (tscmm0100m000) session. This session can also be viewed as a satellite session in the Service Order Activity (tssoc2110m100) session. To view this session, the Inspections check box must be selected in the Service Order Activity group box in the Service User Profiles (tsmdm1150m000) session.
Business Object The business object (order number) for which the measurement is performed. Activity Line The activity line of the order line for which the measurement is performed. Description The description or name of the code. Item The item for which inspection is performed. Serial Number The serial number of the serialized item. Description The description or name of the code. Measurement Type The code of the measurement type. Description The description or name of the code. Position The position ID of the place where the item is located. Description The description or name of the code. Measured Value Numeric The measured value for the numeric measurement type. Unit The unit in which the measurement is expressed. Measured Value Alphanumeric The measured value for the alphanumeric measurement type. Description The description or name of the code. Expected Value The expected value based on the trend is defined in the counter reading. Unit The unit in which the expected value is expressed. Handled by The code of the service engineer who performed the measurement. Engineer Name The name of the service engineer who performed the measurement. Measured On The date and time when the actual measurement was performed. Status The status of the inspection. Note A claim line can be approved only if the value in this field is set to Measured. Allowed values Notifications Logged If this check box is selected, a maintenance notification is generated for one of the applicable maintenance triggers for the serialized item. Text If this check box is selected, a text is present. Business Object Type The type of business object for which measurement is registered. Allowed values Creation Date The date and time the measurement is created. Created By The login code of the user who created the measurement. Last Modified By The login code of the user who updated the measurement. Last Modification Date The date and time the measurement was last modified. Parent Inspection The unique ID of the parent inspection. Checked-Off If this check box is selected, the inspection is checked off and can no longer be modified. Note This check box is enabled only for measurements registered for work orders.
