Master Routing - Operations (tsacm2100m100)

Use this session to define operations for the selected master routing. These operations will then be available for the routing options that can be defined in the Master Routing - Routing Options (tsacm1101m200) session.

Master Routing

A set of operations that can be carried out. The reference activities based on which operations are added to a master routing, must have the same characteristics, such as item, functional element, and service department.

Example

All the inspections, tests, cleaning activities, assembly activities, disassembly activities, and repair activities that you can carry out on an engine.

Master Routing

The master routing's description.

Position

The number that is used to enable master routings to have multiple operations.

The version number of the operation. This number is used to keep track of user changes.

Sequence Number

A unique number that defines the way operations of a master routing are ordered.

Reference Activity

The code that identifies the reference activity on which the operation is based.

The description of the reference activity.

Item
Description

The item description.

Functional Element

A grouping of exchangeable items with identical functions. Functional elements can be used in item breakdowns, physical breakdowns, and reference activities.

Example

When a maintenance activity is defined for a configuration, a functional element can be specified. This way, the activity applies to all items covered by that functional element, and multiple, identical reference activities for similar items are avoided.

Use Master Routing Activity Duration in Depot Repair

If this check box is selected, the duration of a master routing operation for depot repair must be used to populate the duration of the derived work order activity.

The type of time duration considered for the operation.

Activity Duration Depot Repair

The duration of the operation specific activity when used for depot repair.

  • This field is applicable only if the Depot Repair check box is selected in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.
  • This field is enabled only if the Use Master Routing Activity Duration in Depot Repair check box is selected.
  • This field is applicable only if Type of Duration is set to Activity Duration.
  • By default this value is set to the duration of the reference activity linked to the operation.
Setup Time

The time required for setting up or changing over a machine before you start running the machine. Setup time can be long, for example, if you change over from using black paint to using white paint. Setup time can be short, for example, if you change over from using white paint to using yellow paint. The setup time must indicate an average of all possible setup times.

This time is interpreted as labor time.

Note

This field is not applicable if Type of Duration is set to Activity Duration.

Setup Time

The time duration unit that is defined in the General Service Parameters (tsmdm0100m000) session.

Labor Run Time

The total time that is required for all employees involved to carry out the activity.

This field is not applicable if Type of Duration is set to Activity Duration.

Machine Run Time

The time that is required for the machine to carry out the activity.

This field is not applicable if Type of Duration is set to Activity Duration.

Use Master Routing Activity Duration in Field Service

If this check box is selected, the duration of a master routing operation for field service must be used to populate the duration of the derived service order activity .
