Costing Breaks Service Depot Repair Material (tppdm3103m000)Use this session to create and maintain the costing breaks for the depot repair of Service items. For a project involving depot repair of Service item, you can create costing breaks for the material costs. You can create costing breaks for the service item group, installation group, main item, item, and the serial number mapped to specific element or activity of the project. Note To manually copy the costing breaks to another project, select the Copy to other Project option on the Actions menu. The Copy to Other Project window opens wherein you can specify the target project code.
Project The code that identifies the project for which the costing breaks are created. Note You can also create costing breaks for blank projects (projects for which the project code is not specified). However, you must specify the standard element/activity to create costing breaks. Line The line number of the costing break. Service Item Group The code of the service item group linked to the item in Service for which the costing break is created. Note This field is disabled if you specify a value in the Installation Group or the Main Item field. Installation Group The code of the installation group linked to the item in Service for which the costing break is created. Note This field is disabled if you specify a value in the Service Item Group field. Main Item The service item for which the costing break is created. Note This field is disabled if you specify a value in the Service Item Group field. Item The item in Service for which the costing break is created. Note This field is disabled if you specify a value in the Service Item Group or the Installation Group the field. Serial The serial number of the serialized item in service for which the costing break is created. Note By default, this field is disabled. This field is enabled only if you specify a value in the Item field Element The element for which the costing break is created. Note You must specify the standard element and/or the standard activity for a blank project. Description The description or name of the code. Activity The activity for which the costing break is created. Note You must specify the standard element and/or the standard activity for a blank project. Import Service Item Groups Imports all existing service item groups. Import Installation Groups Imports all existing installation groups. Copy to other Project Copies the selected costing break to another project.
