A planned PRP order comes from a budget requirement and is an order advise that you can transfer to Procurement or Warehouse Management. Planned PRP warehouse orders generated in the Generate Planned PRP Orders (tppss6200m000) session or manually entered, are first confirmed using the Approve Planned PRP Warehouse Orders (tppss6225m000) session. These confirmed PRP warehouse orders are then transferred to Warehousing as actual orders. In Procurement, PRP advises can be combined using the commingle option, thereby limiting the number of orders. Warehousing does not provide the commingling functionality. As a result, each warehouse order must be processed separately, involving some administrative overhead. You can also combine PRP orders in the PSS module itself.
