Calculate Estimate Surcharges (tpest2200m100)

Use this session to calculate the surcharges for a specified range of estimate versions.

Note

To calculate the surcharges:

  • the Status of the estimate version must be set to Free and the Use Calculated Surcharges check box must be selected in the Estimate Versions (tpest1100m000) session.
  • the activity or element must be specified in the Estimate Lines (tpest2100m000) session.
  • the Estimating Type must be set to Bottom Up, the Level must be set to Detail, the Line Type must be set to Direct in the Estimate Lines (tpest2100m000) session.
  • the Estimate check box must be selected for the standard surcharges.
  • the Estimate Surcharge Method Cost or the Estimate Surcharge Method Sales check box must be selected for the standard surcharges.

 

Project

The From and To fields define a range of: projects for which the estimate surcharges are calculated.

Version

The From and To fields define a range of: estimate versions for which the estimate surcharges are calculated.

Delete Indirect Lines

If this check box is selected, the existing estimate lines with Line Type set to Indirect are deleted.

General

If this check box is selected, the standard surcharges with the Cost Type field set to General in the Standard Surcharges by Cost Type and in General (tppdm1570m000) session, are included in the surcharge calculation.

Item

If this check box is selected, the standard surcharges defined for the specific item in the Standard Surcharges by Material (tppdm1572m000) session, are included in the surcharge calculation.

Subcontracting

If this check box is selected, the standard surcharges defined for the specific subcontracting cost object in the Standard Surcharges by Subcontracting (tppdm1575m000) session, are included in the surcharge calculation.

Cost Type

If this check box is selected, the standard surcharges with the Cost Type field set to a value other than General in the Standard Surcharges by Cost Type and in General (tppdm1570m000) session, are included in the surcharge calculation.

Labor

If this check box is selected, the standard surcharges defined for the specific labor cost object in the Standard Surcharges by Labor (tppdm1573m000) session, are included in the surcharge calculation.

Sundry Cost

If this check box is selected, the standard surcharges defined for the specific sundry cost object in the Standard Surcharges by Sundry Cost (tppdm1576m000) session, are included in the surcharge calculation.

Cost Component

If this check box is selected, the standard surcharges defined for the specific cost component defined in the Standard Surcharges by Cost Component (tppdm1571m000) session, are included in the surcharge calculation.

Note
  • the Structure Type field for the estimate version must be set to Cost Component in the Estimate Structures (tpest1110m000) session.
  • the same structure must be linked to the cost component in the Estimate Versions (tpest1100m000) as well as the Estimate Lines (tpest2100m000) sessions. The structural element specified at the same level in the estimate structure is included in the surcharge calculation. For example, if Additional Structure 1 is linked to the cost component COMP in the Estimate Versions (tpest1100m000) session, only Structure 1 must be used for the cost component in the Estimate Lines (tpest2100m000) session.
Equipment

If this check box is selected, the standard surcharges defined for the specific equipment cost object in the Standard Surcharges by Equipment (tppdm1574m000) session, are included in the surcharge calculation.

Process Report

If this check box is selected, Infor LN prints the process report for the specified range of data.

Error Report

If this check box is selected, Infor LN prints the error report for the specified range of data.

 

Calculate

Calculates the surcharges that can be included in the estimate for the specified range of data.
