Shift Planning to Date The date to which you want to shift your production planning. How the production planning is exactly shifted depends on whether you already worked on the production order: If no operations have Completed status, the date in the Shift Planning to Date field is considered as the start date of the production order's first operation. Depending on the value of the Direction field, backward planning or forward planning of the production order takes place, as from the Shift Planning to Date. If one or more operations have Completed status, the date in the Shift Planning to Date is considered the Start Date of the first operation with Active status. Depending on the value of the Direction field, backward planning or forward planning of the production order takes place, as from the Shift Planning to Date. If you select Backward in the Direction field, only production orders are shifted for which the first operation starts after the Shift Planning to Date. If you select Forward in the Direction field, only production orders are shifted for which the first operation starts before the Shift Planning to Date.
