Task Relationship - Tools (tirou0115m000)Use this session to link tools to a task relationship. The task relationship tools apply to a specific combination of a task, a machine and/or a work center. Note You can define task relationships in the Task Relationships (tirou0104m000) session. Default value If you linked one or more tools to a specific machine in the Machine - Tools (tirou0110m000) session, and you defined a task relationship in the Task Relationships (tirou0104m000) session in which the specific machine is involved, the tools linked to the machine are automatically inserted in the current session. You can delete tools, or add new tools, if required. The tools defined in this session, are used as defaults in the Operation/Operation Step - Tools (tirou1110m000) session. The tools are defaulted to the Operation/Operation Step - Tools (tirou1110m000) session if the operation makes use of a task relationship to which tools are linked in the current session.

Tool Kit A set of specific tools required to perform a single task. A tool kit can be linked to a machine, a task, and/or a routing operation to specify the tool(s) required to perform the task and/or operation. Tool Serial Number A number to identify a tool. The combination of a tool type, for example, hammer, and a tool serial number, for example, 1, results in a unique identification of a tool in LN.
