PCM Configurator Settings (tipcf0111m000)

Use this session to define the settings for the PCM Configurator for a company, item group or an item. These settings must be same as settings set in the PCM configurator. For more information, refer to PCM Configurator set up.

 

Configuration Group

The configuration group to which the PCM Configurator settings are defined.

Item

The item to which the PCM Configurator is set.

Configured by PCM Configurator

If this check box is selected, the item or the item group selected can be configured using PCM Configurator. This includes the configuration of the bill of material (BOM) and routing for the configured item.

Structure by PCF

If this check box is selected, the bill of material (BOM) and routing are generated by PCF .

If this check box is cleared, item, BOM and routing configuration takes place in the PCM Configurator.

Note

If the Product Configurator (PCF) or PCM Configurator set up check boxes are cleared in the Implemented Software Components (tccom0100s000) session, this field is not visible.

Specific Settings

If this check box is selected, you can setup the PCM Configurator settings for the selected item or item group.

Application URL

The hyperlink used to start the third party PCM Configurator, which is integrated with the LN.

Note

The PCM Configurator is an web based application.

Currency

The base currency used in the PCM Configurator.

Instance Name

The code of the application which is used as configurator and is integrated with the LN.

Application Name

The name of the application or web page used to configure the item.

Namespace

The name of the tool which is integrated with the PCM Configurator.

Partial Save allowed

If this check box is selected, the PCM Configurator allows you to save the details after the item which is configured partially.

For the selected item the PCM Configurator Status in the Product Variants (tipcf5101s000) session will be set to Partial Save.

Profile

The profile used in the PCM Configurator. The profiles are defined the Profiles (tipcf0120m000) session.
