| Manually moving Assembly OrdersMoving the planned offline date, has
the following consequences: - The assembly order is
completed later.
- The assembly order is
placed in another mix.
Note - The new offline date
cannot be in the past.
- You can only move
orders that have the status Planned.
- If you want to move an
order to an offline date that falls before the Reference Date, defined in the Assembly Order (tiasc2100s000) session, you are prompted if you really want to do
this.
The reason for this is as follows: - The reference date is used to determine when the content
of an order is valid. The content of an order consists, among other things, of
the required materials and operations. Therefore, if the offline date falls
before the reference date, problems can occur, because the production is based
on an order content that is not yet valid. For example, a certain feature of
the product cannot yet be produced at that time, because the required machines
are not yet operative. Therefore, LN prompts you whether you want to proceed if
such a situation can occur.
- Multi-site supply line
orders cannot be moved. The only way to move such a child order, is to move the
order on the main line and synchronize the child order with the parent order,
by offsetting the child order again. If you move the order on the main line,
the Offsetting Required check box is selected for the
child orders, in the Assembly Order (tiasc2100s000) session, which you start when you double-click a
record in the Assembly Orders (tiasc2502m000) session. The Offsetting Required check box is also displayed in
the Line Segment - Line Sequence (tiasl4500m000) session. Offsetting is performed through
the Offset Line Station Orders (tiasl4230m000) session.
- If an order is moved,
the planned off-line date of the Product Variant in LAC is also updated, the
line utilization is rebuild and the planning dates for the assembly order are
changed in Assembly Control.
